Kia ora koutou Kowhai parents and caregivers! A very warm welcome back to school for Term 3 - it's been lovely to see you all after the holidays and to catch up with everyone's exciting adventures. An extra special welcome to Joel, Toby, Natalie, Keegan and Isaac who have all started at West Melton School at the beginning of Term 3! We hope you enjoy your time in the Kowhai Community and learn lots. Learning Conferences Thank you all for making the time to come and discuss your child's learning with us at the end of Term 2. We hope these conversations were beneficial for you. Remember, if you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's learning, you are more than welcome to make an appointment to meet with your child's pod teacher. Bingo Babes A reminder that this awesome evening is on next Saturday (August 5th). There are still a few tickets available from the School Office, so get a group together and plan for a great evening! Mrs Sands and Mrs B are long-time fans (groupies) of the Bingo Babes, and will be there with bells on! :o) If you're not sure what to expect, pop in and ask them! Also, if you own a business that would like to support or donate something towards this fundraising event, please contact Di van der Zwet (347 8448, or [email protected]). And make sure you're keeping up with all the amazing prizes that have been donated on the school Facebook page. See you there! Friends of West Melton School
