Kia ora koutou, Kōwhai whānau,
Phew! Our very last K.I.T. notice of 2019. We promise we'll keep it brief, as we know there are sleigh bells to ring, marshmallows to toast, snowmen to build, and all those other exciting pre-Christmas activities to complete! Maybe not - but your kids really need you at this time of year, so instead of reading messages from us, go and build some memories with them. :o) A massive 'thank you' to each of you for your support, encouragement, and help through the year. In particular - to those parents who have volunteered their time to come and help in the classroom, our sincere thanks for making yourselves available. And a huge 'thank you' to the book room fairies who put away box after box after box of reading books without a single complaint (well, not when we could hear, anyway!) We wish you all a fabulous Christmas and New Year break with your friends and families. Travel safely, and we look forward to catching up with you all again in 2019! Ngā mihi mō te Kirihimiete, Thelma, Sonja, Jo, Lisa, Rachel, Christina kowhai@westmelton,school.nz
